I've updated the  Wiki press kit except for the Delphi entry which looks like it dates from around the time of the abomination that was Delphi 8:

Quote
Delphi is still a superior tool for writing Windows applications. Borland wants to make their flagship product the ideal tool to develop .NET applications. This is done without full backward compatibility. Whether this a good idea is highly doubted by many people in the Pascal world. Delphi will be influential for the Pascal language for the forseeable time, though.

Someone who uses both Lazarus + FPC and a current Delphi should do this. It shouldn't take you long ;)

I've updated the Wiki User groups page which involved mainly deleting links to dead sites :(

If you know of any User groups (national or local) which are not listed, then please either edit the Wiki to add them or mention them here with links and I'll do it for you. Delphi user groups may well also be a home for Lazarus + FPC users, if nothing else, it will give you a chance to convert them and save them money :)

The Wiki Installing  Lazarus on Windows section of the installation instructions page almost certainly needs updating, especially the section on using a thumb drive/USB memory stick.

Alas, I've not had an actual Windows machine or used Windows in a VM regularly since Windows 2000.

Given the number of Windows users, surely someone from that short can spend the time to update these instructions?
