pas2js and lazarus 2.0.10
« on: July 15, 2020, 03:30:54 pm »
I'm glad Lazarus 2.0.10 with fpc 3.20 has came out. But I still have questions about it.

1. Why do I still have to installed pas2jsdsgn manually? When will it be default on installation?
2. To use pas2js you need the whole package to download for using. Why not default?
3. By tools --> Pas2JS the path of pas2js.exe is set to $MakeExe(IDE.pas2js). But the file will not be found. I have to manually set the right path to compile.
Lazarus 2.06 (64b) / FPC 3.0.4 / Windows 10
stucked on Delphi 10.3.1

2.0.10 is a bugfix release, thus no new features.

Same as above.

Considering that right now you need to provide pas2js manually anyway it's no use to provide any automatism here (Note: I have simply copied my configuration directory for 2.0.8 and didn't need to setup the path for pas2js after that).

It should be noted that the directions are for Windows installations and don't apply to Linux either.
