Hi Folks,

question:
I have the scenario with a DB-App as follows:
Location of App: central File-server (standalone-EXE)
Clients: Call that App on the shared folder from their client-computers.

Now the Problem: Not all clients have the Driver (IBM DB2) installed on their client-machines, and therefore no DSN and/or Driver-Entry in their ODBC-Manager

Do i just have to drop the dll in the App-Folder on the share? How would i point MyConn.Driver to that DLL, when i cannot use the string "iSeries Access ODBC Driver" (as all the examples suggest)?
One System to rule them all, One Code to find them,
One IDE to bring them all, and to the Framework bind them,
in the Land of Redmond, where the Windows lie

Code is like a joke: If you have to explain it, it's bad
