[SOLVED] xmodmap or xkb
« on: June 25, 2020, 09:27:29 am »
Has anyone had any luck using xmodmap or xkb with the Lazarus IDE?

I'm trying to map HJKL to my arrow keys.

If I do it with xmodmap, it works everywhere except in the Lazarus IDE (source code editor).

If I do it with xkb, same thing.

You might be onto something.

Lazarus trunk GTK2, not working.

Lazarus 2.0.8 QT5, working (or its my imagination).

Lazarus 2.0.8 GTK2, not working.

I'm going to rebuild Lazarus trunk with QT5 and see how I go. I'll report back.

Yikes, Lazarus trunk with QT5 works fine.

Guessing it is a SynEdit problem with GTK2?

Looks like I will be building my projects with GTK2 widget set but using the QT5 IDE.
