hello,
in bgragames package there are references to  uos files in a  bgragames folder  -> conflict with uos package ? i have had a similar problem with tlazserial et synaser -> i have renamed the synaser files in my tlazserial package.

friendly, J.P

Hello JP

Indeed, the source https://github.com/bgrabitmap/bgragames/tree/master/sound/src

are 5 years old and could conflict with the last release of uos.

Hi Guys,

I just downloaded the latest version of UOS from the github page(no OPM involved), extracted the files, then opened uos.lpk from the IDE. After compiling the package the ous.pas is overwritten by Lazarus. Please see attached images for more details. The reason is simple, for every aaa.lpk an aaa.pas is automatically generated by the IDE(I'm not sure why). The fix is also simple, please rename uos.lpk to laz_uos.lpk or any other name, which is not in conflict with a pas file from the same directory.

Hello GetMem:

OK to rename into laz_uos.lpk but, sadly, my pc is out-of-work (with the web-key password on the hd) and so I cannot commit to Github anymore.

I have to extract the hd, connect to a other pc, copy the password-key and use it for a new commit.
And to do all this I dont have the new pc nor time to do it before few weeks.

Of course, if it dont disturb you too much, feel free to rename the package like you want, imho uos.lpk is only used by opm.

Thanks for your attention.

Thank you. I renamed the package and updated UOS in OPM. Now is in sync with the github repo, except the lpk file of course.

No problem, please take your time. I attach the a zip with the new package(laz_uos.lpk and laz_uos.pas), when your pc is up and running again, please delete the old uos.lpk from the github and add the new files. Thanks again!

PS: BGRAGames works fine now with UOS, there are no conflicts whatsoever. Just tested...

Thanks GetMem for your always constructive and postive ways.

About my pc, it could take time:  :-[.

But I just discover that, via uos-Github site, I can accept Pull-request using the "simple" password of my Github account:

So the faster would be if somebody does a "Pull-request" with your changes and I will accept it via the uos-Github site.

Unfortunately I don't have a Github account, but hopefully somebody will do a pull request. The files are attached to my previous post, the steps are:
1. Delete uos.lpk
2. Add laz_uos.lpk and laz_uos.pas

Thanks in advance!
