Project Inspector Deleted Files
« on: June 20, 2020, 09:03:38 pm »
Project Inspector > Add > Add Editor Files > gives a list of files that have been deleted long ago and no longer part of the project, but I can't get rid of them. Any suggestion?

Do they still exist on disc? If not then it sounds like a bug, but if they do then they're valid candidates for being added.

A right-button operation meaning "I don't care where this suggestion came from, I don't want to see it again" might be desirable, /particularly/ where it refers to a file which is in some configuration file list but doesn't actually exist any more.

The files do not exist in the project folder nor anywhere on the disc. However their names show up in the project session file (.lps)

Then delete the session file (or rename it so that you can restore it if my advice should turn out to be bad). it contains the opened file, cursor positions in them etc - nothing which is a big loss when you don't have it any more.

Deleting the session file .lps did not solve the problem. However editing the same and removing the sections with the undesired file names fixed the problem. On the other hand the .lpi file has  the correct file names and number.  If that was not a bug what could  have it been?

Check the project option that determines where session information is stored.

Check the project option that determines where session information is stored.

... which, in case you don't know, can be reached through the menu: "Project->Project options"
