I'm using pas2js it's great. Why you need TMS WebCore?
Small simple CSS/box model implementation: https://github.com/pst2d/csscontrols/tree/dev

For its UI support probably.

That's also the reason why I work on Pas2JS_Widget: I really like the idea of being able to use Lazarus' GUI designer aka known mechanisms to implement the UI.

It is the same question like: why do you need Lazarus if you have text editor?

Only with compiler is very difficult to write application you need libraries that is why I need TMS WebCore or any other widget set. Is Like without lazarus/fpgui you can not write gui app using fpc compiler only.

Currently no widgets set is ready in pas2js opensource ecosystem which we can use right now so best option I can see is to use TMS WebCore only.

I can't imagine to create modern web app UI  using designer. Too many html/css/js related things in real life.  (yes I'm crazy man, I need CSS in LCL too  :) ). Maybe for very simple projects it will be great (Pas2JS_Widget or TMW WebCore).

Your project is very promissing and I don't get it why it is not No.1 priority for core Lazarus developers to join you in this effort and to integrate it in the Lazarus as soon as possible.
I am afraid that this window of opportunity for Lazarus might be lost.

That is the unfortunate of Open Source Projects everyone try to do same thing but there own way instead of join as one team.

Imagine if Lazarus and CodTyphon team join together and created the IDE.

Same way few programmer try to create past2js widget set  there own way right now we don't have any usable project in hand.

This is just my thought no mean to hurt any one.

Well, I'm not the original author. Though it seems that I'm the only one still working on that and right now I'm improving it for my own requirements...

Please no. The CT Team already results in enough headaches.

The problem is that it's not clear yet what the best approach for web development with pas2js is, the platform is simply too young with too few developers playing with it.

I would like to help, if indeed, we:
* would join efforts
* choose a certain widget set to work on together.

I am planning to buy the component need suggestion.

Are you considering only TMS Web Core or together with some FNC components (or even whole TMS FNC Component Studio)? I would also like to hear any first hand experience with any of those.
ct2laz - Conversion between Lazarus and CodeTyphon
bithelpers - Bit manipulation for standard types
pasettimino - Siemens S7 PLC lib

I've been pretty damn lazy (or sidetracked) to finish up nyx
https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,49572.0.html

I think I've seen enough posts lately to push me to get back to work   :-[

in my opinion, having more than one type of solution to a web ui framework for pas2js is good. Nyx won't be targeting designer integration but I do think there still is a good usecase for an actual drag n' drop widgetset.

Off to start building  ;D
