Sourceforge Fixes Needed
« on: March 28, 2020, 11:59:01 am »
The README at https://sourceforge.net/projects/lazarus/files/Lazarus%20macOS%20x86-64/ contains an out of date link to:

* http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Installing_Lazarus_on_MacOS_X

which should be replaced with:

* https://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Installing_Lazarus_on_macOS

----

The External Link menu has links for donating Euros or USD - I suspect these are out of date (were removed from the Wiki a while ago when I queried them). See attached image.

That's why old wiki pages should be redirects to their new replacements (That differs for mockups, or pages that have no replacement). There could be more links to the page, some might not even be under our control.

Try the mail list, I believe Mattias keeps the README. And as it is uploaded with each release, it needs to be changed at the source.

Both donation links seem to work?
The old one stopped working some years back. But they were replaced. I am not aware that the current ones are broken.

You deleted (changed the text to strike through) on the Wiki in December 2019 (see https://wiki.freepascal.org/How_to_donate_to_Lazarus) which made me think they were outdated?

Right, the money now goes to the foundation. So the text is wrong.
