PortAudio for Mac OS 64 bits
« on: February 25, 2020, 06:28:34 pm »
Is PortAudio still  compatible with recent Mac OS X ?  I have searched for a 64 bit library for Mac OS ( Darwin) but so far without success.
I am not sure PortAudio development is still active.
And experience with that and bridge to Lazarus that you can share?
Thanks

Unless you want to be cross-platform, if portaudio causes trouble maybe using coreaudio directly is easier.

I have tried without success.  Also tried AudioQueue and I have crashes during mic input.
Can you provide a coreaudio example in Lazarus?
I want to input to a buffer for fft analysis. My buffer is 16384 bytes for 8192 16 bits int. @ 8000 hz mono PCM
