Hi all,

I'm glad to share sqlNotex, a free software written with Lazarus and working currently only on GNU/Linux to manage notes in Markdown format along with attachments (files) and tasks. sqlNotex uses Firebird 3 as database and a slightly modified version of TRichMemo component. It's released under the GPL 3 license.

Although the interface is very close to the one of MyNotex (see https://sites.google.com/site/mynotex), they are very different pieces of software. sqlNotex is intended for programmers and expert users who have the ability to manage Firebird and prefer to type their texts in Markdown, while MyNotex is for common users that want to write their notes in the same way they do with their word processor.

The website of sqlNotex is https://sites.google.com/view/sqlnotex/home.
The code is shared also on https://github.com/maxnd/sqlNotex, and the English manual is available in https://github.com/maxnd/sqlNotex/wiki, as well as within the software and in its website.

I hope it can useful to somebody out there :)

Massimo
