repeated gdb problems with lazarus

Hello,
I experiece multiple debugging problem with the DGB debugger.
I allways see this window message and I can't really debug.

   fpc : 3.3.1-r40491
   Lazarus : 2.1 r59757M

Well, at least gdb can recover...
What I would do is move the breakpoint from where you start to step a bit further back in the code. That way you can see which line caused the error.

Plz always attach a small example if that is possible. A screenshot on its own tells very little.

this window appear when I start the program in the ide (typing F9).
I'm not starting a debug yet.
 :)

What does it show when you click on the "More" button?

Is your system 64 or 32 bit? Win, Linux, or Mac?

On Win you can try gdb 8.2 from the "alternate gdb" section on our sourceforge page.

You can also go to "project options" in the IDE, and change "debug type info" to "dwarf with sets"
