"IMPORTANT: Request a trial license"

Well, it states at the top that no sources are provided for TMS Web Core and kbmMemtable. Thus using a "clean and rebuild" would delete these binary only units and they would not be able to be recompiled them.

"IMPORTANT: Request a trial license"

TMS Web Core is a commercial component suite and as such the components provided by that Lazarus version are probably protected thus the need to use a trial key (this would be similar in Delphi where you need a trial key as well).

What might be more concerning might be that is a potential GPL violation. Distributing binary only packages is okay, it's the user's choice to use them. However distributing a precompiled Lazarus with binary packages might be a violation. This is also mentioned on the wiki:

Yes, but only when you distribute them outside your organization. See Lazarus licensing section and [1]) Note that FPC is set up in a way that linking to GPL code is usually not needed.

Hi,
Well that can be a concern, however you know how many developer
Would like to add some web tasks to their desktop apps say client server app and have
A lot of web hassles. So at least one can go ahead and do some web stuff using the same IDE. This sounds great.
I am not a TMS developer nor a TMS customer but have been following
Their web advances since quite some time. The disappointing  thing to me was
They offered trial versions for Delphi but not for Lazarus.
Now they do, well let see how good the webcore it is,  does it fit well in our requirements
At the end, it is a chance to try. Offering webcore for free is a big step forward
I will have the version installed on separate PC and see what webcorecan do..
Please if you try it out share with us your opinion and examples if possible
Cheers
