« on: January 10, 2020, 06:18:16 pm »
I reinstalled Lazarus, because no program could be compiled anymore!
After reinstalling I got the errormessage: unable to read graphtype.pp
What did I wrong, so far?

How do you expect us to answer that if you don't tell us /why/ programs couldn't be compiled, and what operating system etc. you're running?

From the information you've given us, an entirely valid answer would be close the door on the floppy drive".

My answer is completely remove it and reinstall.

Looks like a faulty storage medium. If it supports S.M.A.R.T. run one of the tools for that. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.M.A.R.T.

This reminds me of an issue that I had with my anti-virus BitDefender which suddenly had decided to treat programs created by fpc as malware and deleted some programs of my tool-chain. For programmers, anti-virus software has become some kind of malware of its own...

Which anti-virus are you using? Are the Lazarus, fpc and your project folders on the white-list of the anti-virus?
Mainly Lazarus trunk / fpc 3.2.0 / all 32-bit on Win-10, but many more...
