How to start Android projects with Lazarus
« on: January 16, 2020, 08:06:06 pm »
Hi,
Firstly of all, I'm sorry for my bad english.
I'm machine engineer, and I'm programmer over 10 years. (It is my Hobby.)
Now I want to use Lazarus, because it's free platform. No need licence etc.

I searched on internet, and find alot of Lazarus+Android setup guide. But all of them very old.
I tried a lot of type of setup. Now today is my fourth day.
I attached my downloads folder. I think this folder is soup. (Very complicated.)
Do you now any documents about How to start Android with lazarus installer?
What can I do?
Thanks.

(My system - Windows 8.1)

LAMW is what you want to check out,
https://github.com/jmpessoa/lazandroidmodulewizard

specifically the "getting started" text file found here,
https://github.com/jmpessoa/lazandroidmodulewizard/blob/master/LAMW_Getting_Started.txt

lastly, there is a solution that is supposed to install everything required for LAMW for you, so this might be the link you check first (I haven't tried this myself)
(original forum post) - https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,45361.0.html
(github repo) - https://github.com/DanielOliveiraSouza/LAMW4Linux-installer

hope this helps

Thanks mr-highball...
I tried all of them. But now it's working. I don't know. I'm happy.  :D and I  want to make "Hello World" application.
I install again on sunday, and make a new installer document for new users.

I tried that. Installation is OK, but I was not able to compile and test even an almost empty application.

What are the removal instructions?

The script lamw_manager_setup.sh installed several GBs of packages and applications. Does it have a remove option? Or is there any documentation on what to remove from my system?

Lazarus 2.2.6 / FPC 3.2.2 on x86_64-linux-gtk2 (Ubuntu/GNOME) and x86_64-win64-win32/win64 (Windows 11)
