Merry solstice from France!

By remembering the cycle of seasons, we can take comfort in the knowledge that the sun will grow strong and warm us again! In the meantime, we replace its light with decorations.

I invite you to try vegetable pâté instead of foie gras, it can be great too and animal-friendly. 

Don't take this for an attack, but in my mind Christmas without God, without religion, is a very sad thing. Gifts, electric garlands, food (with or without meat  ) cannot enjoy me.

I don't need any God or religion to celebrate that the darkest time of the year has passed and we're moving towards spring again (though obviously in our global world that doesn't work in the southern hemisphere at the same time... )

I suppose that you find it sad because in your view spirituality equals belief in God. My spirituality does not contain God but makes me happy.
