fpCEF simple example won't compile
« on: December 05, 2019, 09:12:16 pm »
Linux (MC19)
Intel i5
Lazarus 2.0.6

I am getting these errors when trying to use CEF in my application and even trying to run the simple example for CEF.

Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]
  1. Project Simple raised exception class 'External: SIGTRAP'. In file '../../content/app/content_main_runner.cc' at line 759
  2.
  3. The file "/var/lib/spotify/buildagent/teamcity/work/6a443182a3584d59/CEF3_git/chromium/src/content/app/content_main_runner.cc" was not found.
  4.

Is there a spotify package I need to install?

Does the file that was not found exist at that location?

See http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/index.html

No, it does not. Can't find them anywhere on the system. Why is it raising a SIGTRAP signal in my code? Is there a way to avoid that? I tried running without debugging and it does nothing. Maybe it just crashes and stops....

Do we REALLY need all three of these stupid CAPTCHAS?????

Well, maybe not, but it is a lazarus package of the CEF. I'm brand new to pascal/lazarus, so trying to understand what the problem is.

If not this, then an easy way to display a webpage in my app would be great. It doesn't have to be chromium, but something would be great that also does javascript.
