What is getlazarus.org?

They also provide lazarus builds. On Linux, they said their script will download and build fpc/lazarus for me but in fact they downloaded a prebuilt version to save time as they commented inside the shell script. Their version is a bit outdated as they only provide fpc 3.0.4 and lazarus 2.0.2. Is it safe to use lazarus build from this site?  :)

It's as safe as any custom-build you do on your own. It just isn't the "official" build, though it's very close.
