[Solved]:Warning: svn not in path
« on: October 13, 2019, 09:20:28 pm »
Hi guys.

For some time now (after rev.61508) I can’t see the revision number of Lazarus, e.g. for rev.62009 (Lazarus 2.1.0 rUnknown FPC 3.3.1 i386-win32-win32/win64). When I try to rebuild the IDE, I see a message
Quote
Warning: svn not in path.
What's the matter? Do I need any additional compilation options?

Win10 LTSC x64/Deb 11 amd64(gtk2/qt5)/Darwin Cocoa (Monterey):
Lazarus x32/x64 2.3(trunk); FPC 3.3.1 (trunk), FireBird 3.0.10; IBX by TonyW

Sorry for my bad English, I'm using translator ;)

Mine is still working, but I'm a few revisions behind you:

Also, I use FPCupDeluxe

(Windows 64-bit install w/Win32 and Linux/Arm cross-compiles via FpcUpDeluxe on both instances)

My Systems: Windows 10/11 Pro x64 (Current)

It can be that some other software install (Tortoise?) damaged your path, so examine the path first and see if subversion/git has a correct path. If Tortoise is the cause, remove the older installation of subversion from the path.
Specialize a type, not a var.

@ASBzone
Thank you for your reply.  I don't like fpcupdeluxe for some reason.  so I try not to use it.

Hi guys.

It turned out that I accidentally deleted the path to svn.exe from the system variable Path. I had a solution to a problem right in front of me  :)

Once again I want to thank you for your attention and advice.
