Hmm... Let's return to the "1650,26199999999 problem". The point is, that 1650,2620=1650,261(9), which is in FloatToString represented by 1650,26199999999, as Float doesn't use periodic fragments (is that right translation of "ułamek okresowy" in polish?).

A new win32 installer has been released today: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89339&package_id=105599

Cool. Why is the setup file so much smaller than previous versions? (24MB vs. 42MB)

Achim

AFAIK, the old one also contained the fpc units. So you had them twice.

There are a few reason:
[list=1]The fpc source directory does not contain ccmpiled units (as Marc said).[/list:o]
Not the complete fpc source directory is distributed, only what is needed for lazarus. So no compiler sources, no installer sources, no test suite sources.
Maybe anohter brand of installer is used, which might bave a better compression.

The latest binary has the same problem for me on two separate machines. Does the CVS fix above help the latest binary?

By latest you mean http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/lazarus/Lazarus-0.9.2.2-20041004-win32.exe?download ?

The same problem: Acces Violation when showing a file open or file save dialog?

I thought that bug was fixed in the 0.9.2.2 installer.

In order to reprocdure the acces violation, can you tell me, what are you doing exactly?

I'm suitably embarrassed now !!

I posted as guest above that the IDE locked up, well, it turns out in my haste to download the installation, I missed the link and hit the one before the latest (the one with the bug).

Got the latest install and it works great. Looking forwards to using it now.
Many Thanks for all the effort that has gone in to it.

@Adam.Pilorz: "ułamek okresowy" means in English "repeater" or "recurring decimal" as i found in dictionary (bum im not sure) :)
