Lazarus somehow creates broken? app file? Maybe dSYM problem?
« on: August 20, 2019, 01:45:19 am »
New issue popped up today after I cleaned the trash after I discovered it had filled my dev disk/sparsebundle (61GB - 58GB apparently used by trashcan)...

When I build in lazarus it success, but if I use "project | run" it claims the executable is not there in
compiled/myapposx.app/Contents/MacOS/myapposx

However, I can run the generated executable just fine
compiled/myapposx

I am guessing the reason is that inside
compiled/myapposx.app/Contents/MacOS/myapposx
there is file a
myapposx.dSYM
which should have handled this

Any ideas of what I should check/lookfor in reasons as to why Lazarus reports the error?

Nevermind... Something funky with my system. But messing around with complete rebuild / changing build mode / build settings / debug (info) seems to have solved it. Can't say what specifically but still posting this as a solution if anything comes by this in a Google search some day.
