v2.0.2 Download displays v2.0.0 on my Mac

I installed v2.0.0 some months ago, and just downloaded v2.0.2 for OSX and via the installer. No errors etc. But when I launch Lazarus, it reports to be v2.0.0 still. The build date shown via About is the same date that is listed for the v2.0.2 download on Sourceforge though, which seems incorrect as v2.0.0 was released earlier this year. So I am wondering if the packaging of v2.0.2 accidentally forgot to update the version data from v2.0.0 to v2.0.2 yet it still is perhaps v2.0.2 that I am running, or whether somehow the newer version is not installing correctly on my system and I am actually running v2.0.0? If so, then how do I get v2.0.2 to run on this OSX system?

The screenshot below shows the same version number both before and after I switched the default from Carbon to Cocoa, by the way

Something went wrong with v2.0.2.dmg package on sourceforge and I also saw it reports v2.0.0 re-exported, as you mention.

If you want v2.0.2 I believe the version in fink works(reported by other users on irc).

But they also just recently released v2.0.4 which seems to report the version number correctly:

So maybe give that a try?

If you want v2.0.2 I believe the version in fink works(reported by other users on irc).

The pull request for 2.0.4 for fink is out. It may take some time for acceptance. As before, lazarus can be installed in the flavours carbon, cocoa, qt4, qt5 and gtk2.
