Hi!

OpenSuse has *not*  Lazarus and fpc on their live-DVD-iso

BUT

You can copy the iso to a bootable USB stick and fetch Lazarus and fpc from the Opensuse repsitory. They always got the latest stable versions of both with only some days delay.

Debian live DVD's have FPC. Don't know about Lazarus, I guess that's also there. You must choose the DVD version, not the CD versions.
Specialize a type, not a var.

Debian, Version 10.0.0 from July 2019:

The desktop installation contains fpc and Lazarus

The live-version contains nor fpc neither Lazarus.

I meant the live dvd...Did not test the latest, though. I use USB installs and VM's

Debian/Ubuntu installs are very old and most of the time they don't work.

Yes - in the older versions of debian it was really acrobatic to install Lazarus. In the latest version Debian 10.0.0 aka Buster they deliver Lazarus 2.0. And for older Debian versions they make backports.

Any live OS images with FPC, Lazarus?

MX Linux. It's Debian based so it has FPC + Lazarus on the repo but not included in the Live ISO image. You could integrate FPC + Lazarus to it Live ISO image using MX Snapshot. MX Snapshot is one of the most useful feature of this Linux distro  :)

You could use Fpcupdeluxe to have the latest version of FPC + Lazarus, the version installed by Fpcupdeluxe doesn't interfere with the version installed from the system's repo  :)
