Missing IDE keymapping for Open Recent Project
« on: July 11, 2019, 10:50:20 am »
I cannot find a mapping to assign a key combination to Projects->Open Recent Project.
Is it is fact missing? If so, is there a compelling reason for this?

Because it is not a command. It is just a submenu. It cannot be placed at toolbar and key combination cannot be assigned.
But if it is necessary, "Open Recent Project" may be implemented as command like "Goto Bookmark" (Ctrl+B) with standalone menu or separarte form.
The same sutuation with submenu File/OpenRecent.

But there is no reason, in principle, why a (new) IDECommand could not be assigned to the opening of a submenu, or is there?

Beyond the inherent difficulty of opening a submenu by code in a cross-platform way? No, not really. Although it would, maybe, be easier if the IDECommand opened a "Recent projects" window instead.
Turbo Pascal 3 CP/M - Amstrad PCW 8256 (512 KB !!!) :P

No problem. I will try to implement it.
