Adding code and components
« on: June 16, 2019, 06:05:48 am »
Hello there,

I'm new to Lazarus but I've already written a nice program with it. Now I would like to add some sound.
My program is designed to work for Linux and Windows.

By looking on internet I'd found a repository with the code that I need here
https://sourceforge.net/p/lazarus-ccr/svn/HEAD/tree/components/playsoundpackage/latest_stable/updates/

I'd download the .json and the .zip files but I don't kow how to install them into my Lazarus.

I also would like to find documentation about Lazarus IDE, it has a lot of features in it's menus I absolutely don't know what for they are.

Thanks a lot

Thanks Handoko but I already read this page and it doesn't solve my problem.

I suggest you use the Online Package Manager to install the package from the Lazarus Repository.

from the Lazarus Menu: Package > Online Package Manager

See pic.

Thank you very much Trev, I could install the package with your instructions.    :D

Is there any help place to learn the IDE features (with picures, easy to read) please?

Lazarus IDE has many 'hidden' tricks:
