But other people make valid points... you seem to forget that a little.... On many occasions.... O:-)
That's true, maybe someday, after a lot of learning you might be among them.

Still curious about your education: are you a dentist? That happens quite often.... :P
No but, attempting to get a sensible statement out of you is like pulling teeth.

It is embarrassing to see a post that glorifies Pascal on the expense of C++. On the other hand, members like Nitorami and Akira1364 tried a better approach.

I happen to like turmac over concrete, but it depends on the climate I guess.
I am also not glorifying Pascal as such,. Merely pointing out that it is the implementation of a language, not the "hype" that something is superior..
The latter is plainly not true.

Specialize a type, not a var.

You mean this report? https://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=34140
Yes, that's the one I was thinking about.  I believed it got deleted because one day it stopped showing in my list of "Reported by Me" and even now, it doesn't show.  I looked for that bug report and couldn't find it.

Now, I'm really curious, how did you get to it ?

Your report just got closed, not deleted.

By default, all closed bug reports gets filtered out when you browse the Mantis. And they disappear from "Reported by Me" list, too. You can change the filter settings to include the closed ones.

Truly deleted reports are totally gone.

Thanks Cyrax.  Now, I understand what happened.
