Recent changes in Cocoa / FPC that affects backward compability?
« on: February 05, 2019, 01:25:48 pm »
I am starting to think here may have been introduced a problem in Lazarus/Cocoa implementation affecting ability to run on High Sierra

I posted earlier today in Mac OS X board: https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=44159.msg

Essentially my app runs fine on 1.14.x but fails on customers 1.13.6 (High Sierra)

I have more or less excluded other possible reasons than I have updated Lazarus/FPC and the error log reports:

Quote
Symbol not found: __objc_empty_cache

Expected in: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreFoundation.framework/Versions/A/CoreFoundation

Not quite sure if a FPC thing or Lazarus/Cocoa... Maybe more a FPC thing if problem originates in CoreFoundation?
