MS Access like filter control
« on: December 24, 2018, 01:43:35 pm »
Hi,

Before I code one up, just thought it worth asking if there is already an MS Access like filter control (or code) available. What I mean is when you hit the filter option in Excel or Access you get a list of all unique enties and you can select which ones you want to filter on, plus there is a sort option at the top?

Thanks
Dave

Your post is a bit diffuse, and it is hard to guess what you want to achieve. From one of your other posts, however, I learned that you want something like a "Quickfilter". I just scrolled through the code of rxDBGrid and it has extra options "rdgAllowQuickSearch" and "rdgAllowQuickFilter" - maybe this is what you are looking for, I never used it myself, though. You can install the RX library via Online Package Manager or directly from its trunk https://sourceforge.net/p/lazarus-ccr/svn/HEAD/tree/components/rx/trunk/.
