Most resources posted there are free but you still need to read their license before using it.

Some simple guide:
- CC[something] (except CC0) means attribution is required
- ShareAlike means your project must release under same/similar license
- NoDerivs means you are not allow to modify the resource
- NonCommercial means cannot be used in commercial project
- CC0 means totally free but you may not say you're the creator of it
- Public Domain is similar to CC0

  • Sensorship about opinions does not belong here.
You can ask Piotr Tekien if you can use some of his images under creative commons.  https://www.piotrtekien.com/portfolio.html
Mention me, that helps.

Object Pascal programmers should get rid of their "component fetish" especially with the non-visuals.

What kind of the game do you want to make?

Is it for self learning, prototyping or public release? If you just start learning how to make games, the images and sounds are not very important. But if you want to build games for money, you still need to build the prototype first. Only after you have the running prototype, you then will need the high quality game resources.

Finding high quality game resources isn't too hard. You can visit Patreon or pay $5 on Fiverr to have the professionals to create it for you.

Don't give up easily, friend. Building games is fun. The process is not easy but once you see your idea run on the screen, that is very rewarding.
