Running Lazarus on Free DOS or Open DOS
« on: April 24, 2007, 08:38:39 pm »
Hello. I am new in the site and I would like to ask some certains things. I work as a free Developer and I have to develop a solution for a very small bussines company. The problem is they do not want to buy new equipment but they want a graphical Interface. I was wondering if I cuold develop application with GUI using LCL and FPC under Free DOS for Example. This would be great because using Lazarus, eventually, I could migrate the Solution to any Plataform if it needed. I hope you could help me with this issue. Thank You.

No, not now and not in the near future.

You need to write a LCL widget set interface. Lazarus has widgetset interfaces for windows, gtk, carbon (Mac OSX), but not for anything that is available on dos.
