Spotlight shortcut (Cmd-Space) clobbered by Lazarus?
« on: June 07, 2017, 07:17:54 am »
Lazarus 1.6.4 + FPC 3.0.2
macOS 10.12.5 Sierra

Hello again, I'm left with a minor problem, and I don't even know if Lazarus is the culprit. The problem seemed to happen after I ran Lazarus for the first time after changing my default user account. I know, however, that correlation does not necessarily imply causation, so I don't know! The keyboard shortcut I used to launch Spotlight (Cmd-Space) no longer works. Reassigning a different shortcut (Option-Space) to Spotlight does work, and System Preferences shows no obvious shortcut clashes. Has anyone else seen this problem?
"It builds... ship it!"

Mac Mini M1
macOS 13.6 Ventura
Lazarus 2.2.6 (release version)
FPC 3.2.2 (release version)

Lazarus uses ctrl-space to popup intellisense/codeinsight/codetools. I don't know how that maps on Mac. But Lazarus is very configurable in that regard
