Std. ComboBox. How can empty drop down list not to be viewed ?

I click for empty DropDown and I want that empty list does not drop down. Nothing, not needed empty rectangle.
I want call new Form in "OnDropDown" event.

Property ComboBox1.DroppedDown:=false; doesn't impacts on behavior of ComboBox
Description:
Indicates whether the drop-down list has appeared.
Setting this property opens or closes the drop-down list.

What widget set (or platform) are you using? You have to add Items in TStrings to a ComboBox to display them.

DropDownCount:=0 shows 1(not 0) items. Why ?
