This normally means there is not enough memory to compile Lazarus.
Increase your memory by adding swap and see what happens.

Hi, Don. Please drop the check for svn executable existent if I choose to build trunkgit version of both fpc and lazarus. Currently it prevent fpcupdeluxe to start even if the git executable already exists.

What should I do with this?

Why fpc expects fppkg.cfg to be in /etc since it's installed on an unprivileged folder on my homedir?

I don't know why but the second time I start it, it successfully generate the configuration file, though.

@fabiopesaju
Press "Restore Fppkg configuration"
Press "Browse"
Navigate towards the directory where FPC binaries are installed.
This is the base FPC directory where you will find 4 other directories: bin, lib, share, units. Select this directory and off you go !

Hi Friends...

I definitely can't complete the installation. Always freezes when downloading sources from repositories.

I have to download manually, in a looping: Update, cleanup, update, cleanup ... until complete.

It's been like this for over a year.

Well ... my question is, is there a Github equivalent for these "exact" releases?

https://svn.freepascal.org/svn/fpc/tags/release_3_0_4

https://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/tags/lazarus_2_0_6

What platform are you running on, and what version are of FPCupDeluxe are you trying to install, and to what location on your machine?
-ASB: https://www.BrainWaveCC.com/

Lazarus v2.2.7-ada7a90186 / FPC v3.2.3-706-gaadb53e72c
(Windows 64-bit install w/Win32 and Linux/Arm cross-compiles via FpcUpDeluxe on both instances)

My Systems: Windows 10/11 Pro x64 (Current)

I could add an option to dwonload sources from here.
ftp://ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/snapshot

These are normal zips. And would be suitable for non-changing releases like stable.

All versions of the FPCupDeluxe in last 12 months ~.

I'm in Brazil.

This is definitely not a problem with FPCupDeluxe.

This is the very slow SVN server that goes into timeout.

Maybe some routing issue on my internet service .. but in the forums I've seen a lot of people report the same issue.

I'm afraid that being on the same server will happen the same.

But thank you if you can add this option. We will try...
