Okay after some time, fpc(only) 3.0.4 installed. But after Lazarus(only) 2.0.2 install failed:

..ooops I cant find the log... rerun fpcupdeluxe, after copy log from the window.... see attached file.

What is the problem with the RX modules?

Edit1.:
With clean config_lazarus directory (install without old config), Lazarus install is success...

Edit2.:
After Lazarus 2.0.2 installed, I tried to install only fixes 2.0, the result:
Quote
fpcupdeluxe: ERROR: LazarusNativeInstaller (CheckModule: Lazarus): sources error (URL mismatch).
fpcupdeluxe: ERROR: LazarusNativeInstaller (CheckModule: Lazarus): desired URL=https://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/branches/fixes_2_0
fpcupdeluxe: ERROR: LazarusNativeInstaller (CheckModule: Lazarus): source URL=https://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/tags/lazarus_2_0_2/
ERROR: Fpcupdeluxe fatal error !

So, I can't update Lazarus?

I have added a NetBSD x86_64 binary of fpcupdeluxe.

https://github.com/LongDirtyAnimAlf/fpcupdeluxe/releases/download/1.6.2u/fpcupdeluxe-x86_64-netbsd

It has been made by cross-compiling from Windows towards NetBSD.
Its just a proof of concept.
Due to the fact that it runs 100%, but does not work ... ;-)

Fpcupdeluxe makes extensive use of TProcess.
And TProcess (trunk) fails to function correct on NetBSD (on my VM-system at least [NetBSD 8, with Mate]).
Please try with NetBSD current (8.99). They made some changes with libpthread to supports C11 thread. I think it is related.
Is it still failed to work with the latest snapshot of NetBSD current? I guessed there's something wrong with libc on NetBSD 8.

@totya
As the output shows: Lazarus 2.0.2 and Lazarus fixes 2.0 have different (svn) URL's.

https://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/tags/lazarus_2_0_2
https://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/branches/fixes_2_0

You cannot install them in the same directory: URL mismatch.
Just choose a different install root-directory for these two Lazarus versions.

When will we have next version of NewPascal? Sorry for being offtopic here. But I found NewPascal doesn't have Dynamic Library project type like normal Lazarus. Does my eyes just be problematic? If I'm right, why? I liked to do many weird things. Like tried to use gtk2 widgetset on Windows. I set up everything right and normal Lazarus compiled the sample gui app just fine but NewPascal give me a bunch of errors, weird.

At this moment, NewPascal is not maintained.
You can ask forum member hnb (pm) for his future plans regarding NewPascal.

The project is frozen since latest big misunderstanding with one of main FPC developer. I want to act in rational manner. After cool-down period (there was a lot of emotions), I was asking about possibility of my participation, cooperation and future related to FPC compiler and NewPascal projects at 22 March 2019, without any clear answer until today. I didn't decide yet what to do next.
Checkout NewPascal initiative and donate beer - ready to use tuned FPC compiler + Lazarus for mORMot project

best regards,

Hi

Just updated lazarus and FPC both trunk (64bit windows).

FPCUPDELUXE finished without error, and buiult lazarus.

However when I run startlazarus, I get a PopUp Error Message 'Buffer Error' and can no longer run it.

Is this an FPCUPDELUXE error or a TRUNK Error.

The best way to get accurate information on the forum is to post something wrong and wait for corrections.

Hi guys,

I'm trying to install Lazarus for a few days, but there is always a time out error.

Is there any way to deploy the files in the local directories to prevent it from trying to get from SVN tree?
