@DonAlfredo
Your temporary workaround didn't help. I am getting the same errors. What else can I try?

I am in the process of installing Manjaro x86_64 in a VM, to try to reproduce your issue.
Please stay tuned.

Yes. Fixes have been implemented. A new release will contain these fixes. However, this new release is not yet ready, due to more fixes needed (xtensa).
Later today, I will try to do a pre-release for you to test.

THX for implementing fixes for xtensa-rtfreedos lx106 and lx6.

This now a good base for me to make more tests with the esp8266 and esp32. Both chips have wifi out of the box and are very interesting (for me).

For both you have to use a trunk(master) version of fpc. There were some changes for the used SDK Version in fpc.

There is a file https://github.com/LongDirtyAnimAlf/fpcupdeluxe/releases/download/linuxx64crossbins_v1.1/CrossBinsLinuxx64.zip for fpcupdeluxe, it has a buildscripts folder.

Do I understand correctly that these are scripts, by running which I can get the same file structure in my destination folder?

There are 3 buildscripts. One for the binutils, one for gcc and one for the static libs needed by the mORMot[2].
These scripts are provided due to the fact that they are needed by myself. And as a starting point for others in case they want to build the tools themselves (updated binutils or gcc or sqlite3).
So, normally, you do not need them. And no file structure is needed nor implemented.

@DonAlfredo
I need crossbin and crosslib on glibc 2.19
How can I get from debian jessie (virtualbox) and copy them to my real system?
As I understand it, the usual copy-paste will not work?
Maybe there is a script?

I guess you have also filed an issue about this on Github ?
https://github.com/LongDirtyAnimAlf/fpcupdeluxe/issues/503
Please do not cross-post. I will address this on Github. As this is a very special use-case, changes are that this will not be implemented. But I will look into this.

Yes, this is my post.
I apologize for the duplication here, I'll take that into account in the future.
Thanks, I'll wait for news.

I tried to use the pre-release, and ran into an issue.

I finally got around to trying fpcupdeluxe.

I really needed a working copy of the 3.3.1 compiler. After several unsuccessful attempts trying to follow wiki pages and forum posts, I gave fpcupdeluxe a try. It worked like a charm. The UI is a bit overwhelming, but it does the job.

I just wanted to say thanks for your efforts.
