Thanks for the advertizing ;)
The game is at http://sourceforge.net/projects/lwars/
Nothing apart 2 screenshots there yet, I want it to be playable on net before I release.
It should be released within a month(depends on how school treats me ;) )
If all goes well maybe much sooner.

It's cool for Lazarus to benefit from the constant development by Free Pascal.
FP is almost 64-bit processor ready, ain't it, that's great.
So I think, Yes, L. can be suited for Game Development. But I don't think much people will develop games using L.  because of the Low status of Pascal for game dev.
(the better for us, hehe).

Well FPC is 64 bit already, it has been tested on the Linux platform since there is no stable 64 bit edition of windows, Lazarus could soon have 64 bit support too if people are interested.
The GLScene component already works in Lazarus for win32/linux.
If interested on how much FPC is used for games, please visit http://www.delphigamer.com or http://www.pgd.netstarweb.com
You can get GLScene for Linux here: http://avl.ath.cx/glscene.zip

I just bought an AMD64 and will eventually (soon) install Gentoo on it. So, if that counts, I am interested to test the 64bit version.

Unfortunately not all can buy a 64bit CPU yet :(
