Problem running X with ATI Radeon X700
« on: October 02, 2006, 03:25:14 pm »
I've tried getting X to work in Fedora Core 5 with my Acer Aspire 5024 WLMi with an ATI Radeon X700, and after searching a bit on the internet I noticed that I wasn't alone with that problem... so after some searching I found this page:

http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99490

I used that solution, but encountered another problem. After running X, if I want to switch to terminal mode then the graphics is totally corrupt, and only ctrl+alt+del helps. Why does the graphics get corrupt, and why isn't it restored when i press alt+f7 to return to X? Is it something I can do about this?

This forum is for questions about Lazarus.

I suggest that you post this question on a generic linux forum, like linux questions: www.linuxquestions.org
