BUG - Crash KDE
« on: September 05, 2006, 11:23:10 pm »

Yes, I did so. However, this bug haven't been repaired for almost 7 months. I revived it, but still not assigned, just acknowledged and no one does anything about it.

Too many bugs, too few developers.

What is the number of the bug?

You do can increase the speed at which the bug is solved by either sending a patch or posting a bounty.

I understand you may not know how to fix a bug and send a patch.

But to a post a bounty is easy. Just edit the following wiki page:

Hehe.. no, will set no bounties.
Yes, I do know how to fix... delphi code.. However, fixing borken with broken doesn't work well.
Response I got: "too many bugs for too few developers"... well, will stay that way if they don't start fixing it.

To be honest, I got lazarus only because I can use something similar to delphi on linux, as my home computer is run by Linux.
However, I must give up for now. Simply, I cannot do more complex stuff as threads are not working properly.

...and to get in devel team, I simply have no time... nor will, as I do program 12 hours a day. More is a bit too much, don't you think?

You don´t need to enter the devel team to fix this single bug. About time, many of us work on Lazarus on weekends or vacations =)
