DirectShow: GMFBridge and GMFPlay
« on: March 20, 2015, 06:52:08 pm »
Does anyone know of a Delphi or FreePascal port of the GMFPlay app?   (I'm not so much interested in a port of GMFBridge, the binaries provided by Geraint work in Windows 7).

http://www.gdcl.co.uk/gmfbridge/

GMFBridge is used for joining two different DirectShow graphs.  The GMFPlay app demonstrates it's use by queuing multiple video files into different graphs and playing them sequentially with no pause in-between.

All I can find out there are stale links from around 2006...  I've been meaning to port the code myself since I first came across it.  2003?  Now one of our forum needs GMFPlay functionality, and I don't have the time in the short-term for the port...

If anyone has the port from 2006, that would be fine.  I don't think the DSPack API has changed significantly since that time...

Many thanks.

(Incidentally, so long as there isn't a prohibitive license and unless anyone has any objections, I intend to donate the code to PilotLogic to include with their DSPack examples...)
