Free Pascal and Lazarus Nightly Builds
« on: March 03, 2015, 06:52:04 pm »
This is a public notice. Get Lazarus has switched from hosting arbitrary revisions to hosting nightly built setup programs.

http://www.getlazarus.org/setup/

Going forward, each night the current svn trunk sources of FPC and Lazarus will be updated and converted into a Windows installer, Linux, and Macintosh archives. The installer, setup scripts, application shortcuts, and website now prominently inform users that they have installed or might be installing nightly build versions of FPC and Lazarus.

As before any changes get Lazarus makes are hosted in a diff file distributed with each install. This information is also mirrored on github.

Good work. I've installed it last night and it works fine. There's only small "bug". When you startlazarus from terminal (new terminal) ,fpc screams that it cannot find system.ppu ... that's because fpc in $HOME/Development/FreePascal/fpc/bin don't know where is it's fpc.cfg, so exporting PPC_CONFIG_PATH fixes problem. You should mention it somewhere (especially for ppl who already have fpc+laz environment on it's system).

Is getlazarus.org still supported? I have downloaded the version from it, its label is "March 2020", more than a year ago?
Лазар 3,2 32 bit (sometimes 64 bit); FPC3,2,2; rev: Lazarus_3_0 on Win10 64bit.

sysrpl last logged in here in April 2020. Looking at the user's GitHub repos, the user's efforts seem to now be directed to Microsoft Technologies (IoT dotnet and ASP.NET) on Raspberry Pis.

Thanks.
Any idea if Lazarus nightly builds for Windows can be downloaded from somewhere? The links in the wiki also lead to abandoned web pages.

The links in the Wiki are prefaced with this Warning:

Quote
Warning: Snapshots are currently not provided. Links in this section are outdated, any Snapshots still found may be well older than current releases.
This page is kept in the hope that at some time it may be restored.

which I think answers your question :(

It would seem to me that FpcUpDeluxe would be a good solution to this problem.

Well.
As soon as FPC trunk is also (officially) available at GitHub, some actions like those used to test fpcup might be added.
