Is it possible to open foxpro files with lazarus? not just de dbf file but also the fpt (memo) file?

Did you tried to use ODBC (SQLdb)?

p.s. I don't know much about dbf

From a quicklook:

dbf's readme (packages/fcl-db/src/dbase/history.txt) says that there is support for .fpt

Seems that .fpt are dynamical length memo fields that can't be in the corresponding .dbf. IOW you should probably open the corresponding dbf, and maybe the system will read the .fpt automatically when you query the relevant memo fields.
