Wow, after a travel of 10 years and more than 6.000.000.000 km, Rosetta touch his goal => Chourioumov-Guérassimenko comet.

Many thanks to developers who do it....

Yes, it is great. And, perhaps best of all, the avionics is programmed in ADA, a language of the Pascal family.
function GetRandomNumber: integer; // xkcd.com
begin
  GetRandomNumber := 4; // chosen by fair dice roll. Guaranteed to be random.
end;

Well... not everything written in ADA is robust ;)

..from that article:

The truly unacceptable part is the absence of any kind of precise specification associated with a reusable module.

The requirement that the horizontal bias should fit on 16 bits was in fact stated in an obscure part of a document. But in the code itself it was nowhere to be found!

There are a few other links in this forum thread:
http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,26419.0.html

I now realize I should have added onto this message in "Other" instead of starting that new message (please someone move it).  I've been moving from near Ada, Ohio (yes, I like that name) back to Lawrence, Kansas in the last week so it has been difficult staying on top of things.   :)
