Lazarus 1.2.2 Release

The Lazarus team is glad to announce the release of Lazarus 1.2.2.

This release was built with fpc 2.6.4. The previous release 1.2 was built with 2.6.2.

On Windows the installer now allows 2 independent installations.

Choose your CPU, OS, distro and then the "Lazarus 1.2.2" directory.
Windows x64 users: please use the 32 bit installer if possible. See

Minimum requirements:
Windows:       98
FreeBSD/Linux: gtk 2.8 or qt4.5, 32 or 64bit
Mac OS X:      10.5 for Intel cpus, 10.4 for PowerPC, LCL only 32bit, non LCL apps can be 64bit

Thanks for your job, but on Ubuntu i have a problem: the deb depend from fpc 2.6.4, but i can't find fpc 2.6.4 deb.

You have a choice. Either remove the fpc installed from the Ubuntu repository and install fpc 2.6.4 using the Lazarus provided fpc  package on sourceforge, or wait until the Ubuntu repository has 2.6.4 before installing 1.2.2.

It's looks like there is a few issues with FPC 2.6.4 and Firebird (at least on Windows), so my win-win solution is Lazarus 1.2.2. and FPC 2.6.2.

Thank you for providing the new version and also for making it for PPC Macs again. Lazarus 1.2.2 and FPC 2.6.4 work like a charm, even on old Macs with single-core PPC processors.
