Executing programm without confirmation
« on: April 18, 2014, 04:57:14 pm »
Hello!

I am new in linux (comming from windows) an I have a question:

My compiled program starts with "F9" from the lazarus-IDE directly. If I try to start it from the file-manager with a double-click, then I have to confirm, that I will execute the programm, or run it in terminal.

How can I start a program direct with a double-click on the executible?

Thanks
thomas

Its easy:

Right-Click on the program, choose preferences
Second tab with Rights, there check "Run as Program"
Lazarus 1.3 SVN 44197 * FPC 2.7.1 SVN 26822
Linux: 3.2.0-4-686-pae * Debian wheezy
Windows: W98
