code editor bugs

i am trying out lazarus on win xp and having problems with editing code:

1. the autocomplete only works when i manually invoke it with CTRL-[spacebar]

2. after choosing a method, property, etc.. from autocomplete drop-down no key-presses (other typing) seems to do anything -- in otherworks the keyboard locks up until i click somewhere else using the mouse to move the text cursor..

3. i still get corrupted binaries when i d/l the win32 version from sourceforge, regardless of what mirror i use -- when will you update the w32 installer?
