Image processing using Lazarus

Hi,

Is there some links to learn image processing using Lazarus (e.g., chain code, thresholds, etc)?

I checked this link but I am still not sure whether I can change the image color mode using Lazarus. So I wonder has anyone ever tried this? :-\
