I'm having trouble with SUSE 10.0 but all installed OK.  Biggest issues are the GTK font and losing functions in the IDE (like show hints in the toolbar).

I don't have any problems with Lazarus on SuSE 10.0
At least none that could be blamed on the distro ;-)
(Except that gtk+-dev naming problem when installing with Yast, which can be safely ignored)

Problems with fonts, hints? Which desktop environment / WM are you using?

It should work on all distros.

Possible problems are:

1 - No debian packages yet, so installing on debian based distro is slightly more complex and takes more time.

2 - Some distros have very problematic Gtk 1 Themes.

Personally it worked very well on my Mandrake.

I made a deb package of v. 9.11 that installed every time and comes up running.

Should I Upload it somewhere?

Did you use alien to convert the package or you really wrote the scripts necessary to create a package?

What we need are the scripts. If you can improve the current ones and make them work it would be very appreciated =)

They are located at: lazarus/packager

on your local Lazarus copy
