BGRA installation - step by step instsllation PLEASE !!
« on: December 23, 2013, 06:39:32 am »
I found BGRABitmapPack and BGRAControls.  They were unzipped into c:\lazarus\components.  Each with their own subdirectory.  I read that I need INetVisual.  I went hunting for it and from its website got sent to someplace that wanted to download a PDF maker program. I didn't figure that was going to help me with BGRA stuff. Where do I get it???

Running Lazarus 1.0.10.  The two BRGA packages show up on the left list in Install/Uninstall packages with + (in green) on the name.  I hit the save and  rebuild IDE.  It says it can not find ComponentTreeView needed by Object Inspector (Line 47).  Am I doing the right thing to install these packages and where did TreeView go running off to???  I close Lazarus and on reopening it me the following package failed to open Project Inspector.  PI worked fine this morning.  I seem to have made it angry.

If I'm off in the wrong direction tell me step by step by step how to do it RIGHT.  THen I'll also know how to install LazReport.

I downloaded LazPaint (.exe) and it runs nicely so I know the BGRA stuff is not in and of itself the wrong thing for my machine.

I also recommend you look at AggPas [] - there is a version included with Lazarus as standard, but the AggPas included with fpGUI [ or] is more up to date and with more bug fixes.
fpGUI Toolkit - a cross-platform GUI toolkit using Free Pascal
