ACS v2.4 problem
« on: April 27, 2006, 12:42:14 pm »
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone is using acs components in lazarus-linux.
I am trying all this time to playback a simple wav file with no luck. I get all sorts of erros.
I would really appreciate if someone could provide a 2-3 line example that gets a wav file from disk and plays it back.

As far as I know, the ALSA wrapper does not currently work. Christian is working on a redesign of the components (when he has some time). I'm currently in the process of trying to use the aRecord and aPlay utilities from ALSA to record and play.
