Lazarus 1.1.99 cannot remove package

Hi

Thought I would try the pre-release.

Installation went fine, however if i try to uninstall a package, by going package/install uninstall; as soon as i click this I get an error message

semaphore init failed- possibly too many concurrent threads

clicking ok or cancel causes lazarus to exit


If I oad one of my application, consisting of 8 units 4 forms, lazarus freezes on loading. Rightclicking Lazarus icon to see what is loaded, i get lazarus, source, message, my forms and one named error with a tick next to it.
The only thing I can do now is choose the Quit OPtion; as Lazarus has totally frozen.


osx 10.6.8, laz fpc etc all for 1.1.99
