synaser for macosx how to communicate via serial via macosx?

Synaser gives me some sort of file error when I try to connect to the device.

Any ideas?

So.... can we find the OSX fixes contained in that linked file and the linked forum thread in Synapse trunk version?

I haven't yet updated the CtrlTerm for Lazarus port, but there is a patch given in the last message in the topic that might work:

I don't have a Mac to test with so I'm waiting for more feedback before updating the CtrlTerm for Lazarus port.

I'm obviously trying to get people to make sure that patches and fixes are reported back to the original version.

This will help keep the number of versions down, eliminate confusion and allow everybody to just get on with things...

Lukas Gebauer is quite helpful in accepting patches, even though it may take a while.

Please let the guys who have synaser know about this patch it worked! So they can roll it in to there code base
